Practice being open-minded

When’s the last time you took the time to understand something that you don’t necessarily agree with? As humans, we tend to gravitate towards people that share our opinions — we absorb information from certain news outlets, books, TV shows, podcasts. We choose friends who are like-minded. It’s uncomfortable to try and see things from another point of view. But imagine a world where we were genuinely curious enough to try and understand the “other side”? For this cozo, we’re going to learn about a perspective that’s different from our own.

A good fit for you, if:

  • You value knowledge, curiosity, and empathy

  • You want to learn something new

  • You’re practicing open-mindedness
